Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Marrakech as you cross the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views and small Berber villages nestled in the mountains. You stop to explore the famous ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient mud-brick architecture and film history. After lunch near Ouarzazate, the journey continues through the beautiful Draa Valley, filled with palm groves and traditional villages. By late afternoon, you arrive in Zagora where you enjoy a camel ride into the desert as the sun begins to set. Upon reaching the camp, you are welcomed with mint tea, followed by dinner and traditional music around the campfire under the stars.
Early in the morning, you wake up to witness a magical sunrise near the camp, as the first light touches the dunes and creates stunning colors across the desert landscape. After breakfast at the camp, you ride your camel back or transfer to meet your driver. You then begin the return journey to Marrakech, traveling again through the Draa Valley and over the High Atlas Mountains, with stops for photos and rest along the way. You arrive back in Marrakech in the late afternoon or early evening, ending your short but unforgettable desert escape.
