6 Day from Tangier to Marrakech

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier – Chefchaouen

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival in Tangier, your driver will meet you at Tangier Ibn Battuta Airport or your hotel.
Start your journey south through the scenic Rif Mountains toward the charming blue town of Chefchaouen. After arriving, enjoy a relaxed walk through the beautiful blue-painted streets of the medina, famous for its peaceful atmosphere and mountain views. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes

After breakfast, enjoy some free time to explore the quiet alleys and small squares of Chefchaouen and take photos of the iconic blue houses.
Later, continue your journey toward Fes, one of Morocco’s most historic and cultural cities. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes of northern Morocco before arriving in Fes. Overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 3: Guided Tour of Fes

Today you will discover the rich history of Fes with a local guide. Explore the fascinating Fes el-Bali, the oldest medina in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Highlights include visits to the famous Al Quaraouiyine University, the colorful Chouara Tannery, and the beautiful Bou Inania Madrasa. After the guided tour, return to your riad and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 4: Fes – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the Sahara Desert. Pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing through cedar forests near Azrou.
Travel through the scenic Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga at the edge of the spectacular Erg Chebbi. In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel trek across the golden dunes to your desert camp where you will experience a magical sunset, traditional dinner, and overnight under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga – Dades Valley

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, leave the desert and travel toward the stunning Dades Valley.
Along the way, stop at the dramatic Todra Gorge, famous for its impressive canyon walls and palm groves. Continue through scenic valleys and traditional Berber villages before arriving in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Dades Valley – Marrakech

After breakfast, travel along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Marrakech.
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village that has appeared in many films. Continue across the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening. End of the tour.
