Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Your 2 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech begins early in the morning with a pick-up from your accommodation in Fes. The journey takes you through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains, where you will stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” known for its alpine-style houses and clean streets.

Next, you will visit the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where you may see the famous Barbary monkeys. After that, the road continues through the mountains and valleys to Midelt, a peaceful town where you will stop for lunch.

In the afternoon, the tour continues through the spectacular Ziz Valley, famous for its thousands of palm trees and breathtaking views. By late afternoon, you will arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Here, you will ride a camel across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes while watching the sunset over the Sahara. After arriving at the desert camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a peaceful night under the stars in your desert tent.

Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake up early to experience one of the most beautiful moments in the Sahara: sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, you will return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4 to meet your driver.

The journey continues toward the dramatic Todra Gorges, famous for its massive canyon walls that reach up to 300 meters high. You will have time to walk through the gorge and enjoy the incredible scenery.

Next, the tour takes you through the Rose Valley and the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, a region rich in history and traditional Berber architecture.

After passing through Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” the road crosses the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering stunning panoramic views.

By evening, you will arrive in Marrakech, where the tour ends with a drop-off at your accommodation.
